October 27-28, 2006
Boston, MA |
Typically held over two days,
“Wine, Women & Shoes” includes a shoe fashion show, lunches,
dinners, silent and live auctions to raise funds for charity,
and a Women and Wine Seminar called the “Wine and Shoe Pairing”.
Elaine Honig selects the charitable partners in each city and
invites the women winemakers and winery owners who participate.
The winemakers, who are predominantly from California’s premier
winegrowing region, Napa Valley, donate their wine and one
“hospitality” event as part of an auctioned trip to the valley.
