Oakville Ranch, this remarkable vineyard property— originally a dream envisioned by her late husband, Bob— has been crafted and realized by owner, Mary MacInnes-Miner. Over the last 20 years, Mary has planted over 90 acres of vines, primarily Cabernet Sauvignon and complementary Bordeaux varietals. During that time, several early plantings have been fine-tuned to enhance and amplify the mountain terroir expression that speaks boldly of its Oakville Appellation. Cabernet Sauvignon has proved to be Queen of our mountain, the jewel in the Oakville Ranch crown. The wine’s opulence and regal elegance lauds Mary’s vision, unwavering passion and is a nod to her British heritage. During 2009, we will be celebrating the 1989 founding of the ranch, 20 growing seasons, and the crowning glory of the ranch— our Cabernet Sauvignon! |
